any issues with rubbing?

96blackmaxSE Sep 23, 2005 08:26 AM

im sure the ride quality is excellent....*sarcasm*

MaximaSE96 Sep 23, 2005 08:59 AM

its not that they dont fit...they just look retarded

sunten1 Sep 23, 2005 09:03 AM

Our cars arn't big enough for them to look good...unlike the 5th gens or 6th gens...it just looks like it shouldn't be there...

lewtion1 Sep 23, 2005 09:18 AM

to each his own. congrats on the fitment.

superblack98se Sep 23, 2005 09:18 AM

Who said they wouldn't fit?

hacim105 Sep 23, 2005 09:24 AM

Nice rims, they do look a little huge on the car. As a matter of fact I've only ever seen one 4th gen maxima that the 20's looked good on the car.

Anyhow I really do like those rims, hopefully someday I want to buy a Chrysler 300 V8 or SRT8 in the deep lava red and put those rims on there but 22's instead.

Flava_24/7 Sep 23, 2005 09:44 AM

Nice drop, doesnt look too bad with the 20's. But those wheels just arent too great.
Whats the offset? They stick out too much for my tastes.

The Wizard Sep 23, 2005 10:25 AM

They may fit, but they look horrible/stick out too far. Those belong on a Mercedes, not a Maxima. :thumbsdow :Puke:

lol. a little large in my opinion as well

maxgtr2000 Sep 23, 2005 12:29 PM

I saw one at Nopi with 20z that actually looked good, it shut me up from my "no larger than 19z mentality" BUT it had a body kit, a sarona or skyline I think. Since those body kits are pretty big compared to like a stillen they fit well with the larger wheel. With no body kit I think they look too big.

maximazation Sep 23, 2005 12:31 PM

just a TAD too large, doesnt look bad though.

Black Maxima Sep 23, 2005 12:40 PM

Those tires look huge!

falconey Sep 23, 2005 12:52 PM

I think car looks good. The wheels do take away from the car because of their size though. Had you got those in 19's you'd have a lot of peeps on ur ickd right now.

matts95max Sep 23, 2005 02:11 PM

you do what you want as long as you like it.

VIP Maxima Sep 23, 2005 02:19 PM

please tell us about ur fenders being rolled. i bet u they didnt fit at first !

i have 19's with 35 series and my front tires are 1/4" away from hittin the fender. so ur 20's must hit, unless ur runnin 5 profile tires

Thorby Sep 23, 2005 02:21 PM

Hey guys, there's a reason the new Dodge Charger has huge wheels and that new trucks have huge flatter wheels. It's the trend.

Those Max's wheels look cool but it makes you wonder what happens when they hit the slightest bump... Did you put locked-up shocks that dont have any play at all?

2 Da Max Sep 23, 2005 02:38 PM

damm looks hot homie, need a nice chrome girl

deezo Sep 23, 2005 02:46 PM

Forget about hitting bumps. Let's talk about decreased braking performance.

max95q Sep 23, 2005 03:06 PM

Have fun. They look alright. I think maybe a body kit on it would make it fit better. They dont stick out too much but they just look too big for the car. Theres just something about 19's that they work so well. How's the gas mileage with those 20's though?

ThurzNite Sep 23, 2005 05:58 PM

very cool dood. Way to be a Pioneer. I'm very happy that it worked out.
Jae

96jerzeymax Sep 23, 2005 08:29 PM

they fit good....no the fenders aren't rolled at all....and the ride is about the same with the stock rims and s tech springs......

i find that hard to believe.
Riding on my stockers is a lot softer then riding on my 18's.

i figured it would be rougher too....but its really the same.....its really rough but it was the same with my stock wheels....

upstatemax Sep 24, 2005 08:46 AM

There must be something wrong with the pictures....

I cannot see your BBK??? because that would be retarded to put 20's on a max with no brake work and on stock hubs... and no one on this forum would ever make that mistake...

I am sure the next post will be something like... "I just rearended someone" or " I just ran right through a stop light because I could not stop, then my wheel feel off and I got slammed by four cars, please help".

hacim105 Sep 24, 2005 09:15 AM

I think if you had a body/lip kit on there it would look fine. But without the kit the car just looks weird with 20's

ryant35 Sep 24, 2005 12:02 PM

I don't know what these guys are talking about, they look great. Now you just need a grill.

96jerzeymax Sep 24, 2005 02:32 PM

Yea....I need to get the grill back in there......its been out since i installed the cefiro's

If you think they stick out to far then your not hardcore :D I like teh flushness...just a tad too big for my tastes...I sure hope you roll your fender...its not that hard :p And get BBk...

SEmy2K2go Sep 25, 2005 08:53 PM

Not my taste, but as long as you're happy with how it looks.

Blu Sep 27, 2005 10:45 AM

like the color combo but those wheels belong on a SUV IMO.

icelandmaxima Sep 28, 2005 09:08 AM

Never said it couldn’t be done IMO it’s too much is all. With a smaller tire its possible. Looks good none the less.

97maxblue Oct 14, 2005 11:57 AM

They look nasty and huge, and it would def. suck getting a flat, on the side of the road...imagine this 3 20" tires and a 13" donut.....hahaha good luck

gotmilk2000 Oct 25, 2005 08:04 PM

i think they look nice, good for you.
