I agree the brakes look way too small with the bigger rims. I'm planning to do mine soon.

BLUEMAX01SE May 7, 2006 07:32 PM

Ratha, What is the width on those wheels? 8? 8.5? or 9? A buddy of mine is lookin to put 20's on his Max but wants a 8 inch or 8.5 inch wide so a 245/35 20 fits without making the sidewall stretch!

huckle May 7, 2006 09:26 PM

Tight

Damn man those rims look really tight....nice choice...how much they set u back?

ratha77 May 13, 2006 02:04 PM

they are 8 wide i think, maybe 8.5, no no they are 8 and they fit perfectly with 245 35 20 s

rims and tires all together was about 2800 canadian so about 2520 US

irish44j May 13, 2006 03:09 PM

To tell the truth, I don't like them at all. But maybe you Canadians have different tastes! As long as you like them, that's what counts....

ratha77 May 13, 2006 04:23 PM

yea i checked and they are 8.5's, anyways Irish it really depends on which way you want to take you're car, are you into flash, are you into speed, are you into riceness, ect. so it really depends on the owner, you hate the rims i love em, i guess it must be the canadian styles, much superior than our cousins to the south! haha jk

00maxipad May 13, 2006 04:45 PM

yea man 20's all the way i did a 1.7 drop front and 1.4 rear perfect drop looks so clean..fronts tuck a little and the rear is right on key..just becareful they put a lot of stress on the tranny...and u proably will have to stretch the inner fender wall...looks good though

00maxipad May 13, 2006 04:47 PM
