People that have or have had Pirelli's
I am looking at purchasing a set of Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S tires for my 04' Maxima and was wondering what experiences people have had with these tires and all of the companies tires as well.
On tiretrack.com i've searched through the possible substitutions (except for Falken, because they don't have them) and the Pirelli's have the highest or nearly the highest rating in each category. And I do not plan on auto-crossing my car, just an everyday set of tires that have pretty good dry cornering/ride comfort/minimal noise/tire wear, and can also hold up well in light snow. Thanks in advance :p Dan |
I had them for a while.
Good tire, a little performance oriented when comparing it to an all season tire, but you said light snow. It's great for that, but anything more than just light snow will suck. |

My ex had them on her Acura. Good tread life and quiet.

I drove them pretty hard. 30k then I sold them because I raped a wheel that had been d/c'd...so went back to stock size for a while and didn't have use for them.
I'd buy them again. |
I have them. Rather noisy on the freeway.
I wished I bought Toyo Proxes 4's instead as they were much more quieter. I wouldn't go back to Falken Ziex 512's either. |
I had them for about 30 or 40k miles, don't remember anymore. They were better than the OEM's and much better than the HTR+'s i had prior but it gets noisy as the miles rack up and the grip goes down noticable.
Now have the Proxes 4 and i like it much better. Have about 12k on it now and it grips very well in wet or dry (hardly a difference). No snow experience though. |
