Turanza LS-V's or Potenza RE960 AS?
I'm having a hard time making a decision between the two. Does anyone have experiences with both of these tires? I'm looking for the smoother, softer & quieter ride of the two. I'm thinking the LS-V's should be better in that respect since they are grand tourings rather then ultra high performance all seasons.
Looking forward to any comments! |
You're probably right. The RE960AS is a great performer and definitely rides well, but if ride and noise are a priority then definitely get the LS-V.

Neither. Get the Avons.

Never tried the RE960's but my LS-V's (which came with the car when I purchased it) have over 35,000 miles on them and they still do very well in both wet and dry conditions. They even handle pretty well in light snow.

Go with the Turanzas if you're looking for the ride and quiet tire. I've had a set on my GLE and have driven through all seasons with them. Even snow while living in north Tennessee. Hardly any road noise and people constantly fall alseep in the passenger seat while I drive.
I have General Exclaim UHP tires now and even though they're great (more for performance) they still don't compare. :) |
