Getting Falken 912's
 

I'm about to purchase some Falken 912's for my '98. The prices I've found are:

Discounttirezone----$81/per...$324+$40(shipping) - $405 shipped
Discounttiredirect---$91/per...$364+$50(replacement)+$12(stems) - $426 shipped
Vulcantire----------$78/per...$312+$8(stems)+$38(shipping) - $358 shipped

Alternatively, a local shop by me is selling them for $115/per...$460($498 incl tax). And they charge $80 to mount and balance any tires I bring in.

Vulcan looks like a good bargain. Has anyone gotten tires from Vulcan? If so, what's the deal with them?

I'm not TOTALLY stuck on the Falkens(I had 2 sets of 512's. And, yes, they wore quickly), so I can explore other options. I have a week to make my decision. I am in desperate need of new tires.

i usually stick with the reputable companies....tire rack, edge racing, discount tires....never heard of vulcan though

bought tires off of vulcan before.. pretty good company, but the 912s are hella boo boo...

What size tire?
