Lowenhart LDR 19x8.5/9.5 +38/45mm diamond cut with custom black powder coated lips. Flame on... I'm a baller.

Bonka 05-08-2008 06:00 PM

You sir are SICK.

They're going to look hot on the car. I'm a little surprised you didn't go wider :D

BLACKonBLACK98 05-08-2008 06:10 PM

im all about fitment... but not pushing the size envelope on a solid rear. with my fenderwork i am actually more narrow than stock.

*edit - thanks btw.

i was actually thinking of a rmt setup for like 10 minutes... then i realized dragging a turbo down the block probably wasn't the best idea.

Deckdout2 05-09-2008 07:21 AM

Those are baller status fo sho.

RacerX1320 05-09-2008 08:14 AM

Ive never seen black lip on a wheel like that before either. Not bad man. I agree with your solid rear beam comment.
THANKS ALOT NISSAN.

its been done a good amount on japanese vip cars as well as high end euros, but it is a fairly new thing. i think its pretty obvious that i get my inspiration from different places than you average .org member. its ok, i still love you guys.:buttshex:

Hahahaha. Nice. 1 of your wheels equals 2.5 of mine. :wall:

You're going to need two motors with those boat anchors and all the stereo equipment and airbag suspension that's going into it. :gapteeth:

But, it's going to looking freakin' sweet! :D

BLACKonBLACK98 05-09-2008 11:20 AM

when you look this good you don't need to go fast.

honestly i wouldn't even go past bolt ons for the engine if i hadn't dumped so much money everywhere else. gotta keep it well rounded ya know?

The Wizard 05-09-2008 11:31 AM

IMO, if you're going for a true showcar and you want to start bringing home trophies (if you care), you're going to need some sort of FI and some bling under the hood as well. Then the car will be "well rounded". :D

BLACKonBLACK98 05-09-2008 11:53 AM

there will be plenty of "bling" under the hood. i will be doing a combination of black powder coating, chroming, stainless lines, and some secret details on every part, line, and bracket.

as for fi its just not my thing, although i do plan what some may call a major all-motor build.

24K on da way 05-09-2008 09:16 PM

those wheels are sick more even if the ride is slammed...

BLACKonBLACK98 05-10-2008 06:38 AM

slammed like so?

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/c...8/DSCF0303.jpg

MorpheusZero 05-10-2008 09:37 AM

No, that is too slammed. People will think you're too poor to afford any springs so you just let it rest on the bump stops.

BLACKonBLACK98 05-10-2008 10:07 AM

well if i see anybody lookin at me like i'm poor i can:

A) hit switches on them b**hes
B) pull out $5k in suspension receipts
C) not care what ppl think
D) all of the above

it looks kind of nasty right now because of the state of the car and bad fitting temp wheels, but when its all put together with flush 19s and slammed it wont be an issue.

i wouldnt... more like: "Damn that thing is slammed. Must be on bags or something." If the car was rolling around with a primer paintjob and bondo patch job like it is now, then yeah, id probably think he cut springs or some other ghetto method.

Can't say a thing until we see the finished product :)

Or "damn that thing looks uuuugly, why doesn't he raise it up?"

BLACKonBLACK98 05-10-2008 12:25 PM

Or "daaaamn why did he spend as much on his boat anchors as he did on his car?"

Quickish family sedan > balls-slow family sedan BTW :D

BLACKonBLACK98 05-10-2008 01:02 PM

MorpheusZero 05-10-2008 01:19 PM

What, brand new? :grinno:

BLACKonBLACK98 05-10-2008 01:25 PM

MorpheusZero 05-10-2008 01:28 PM

Well it's worth about $3k now... assuming it were drivable of course :nervous:
