Nexen N5000

FYI:

I wanted to drop in a quick review of some tires I bought a while back.

I bought a set of Nexen N5000 215/50/17 on ebay about a year ago and had them mounted on my 4th Gen GLE at Walmart. Hey, what can I say, I'm cheap and it's a 12 year old daily driver car. My commute is mostly back roads with curves with a little city and highway thrown in.

So far, I've been very pleased with the tires. I live in MD, so we get all kinds of weather, dry, wet, snow, ice. They're reasonably quiet and they grip very well on both dry and wet roads. They handle snow and ice as well as any other tire I've used. I've had BF Goodrich Touring T/A Radials on several cars (only specific brand I can remember for comparison) and these compare very favorably. I would choose the Nexen's over the BF Goodrich tires every time.

Hope this helps someone out!
Rob.

Congrats on the N5000's. Hope the work well for your ride.

Hey ZaxWhite97Max, I just purchased a set of Nexen N3000 performance tires. I love the way they look on the Max...guess I have to see how fast the tread wears out.

What are the best nexen tires for a 2005 nissan maxima

My 2005 nissan maxima currently has nexen 3000's which is a summer tire; what would you suggest as a all- weather replacement tire for this vehicle?

if you wanted to stick with Nexen you would want to get the n5000 or the n7000. These are both all-season tires

I have some N3000's (245 35 20's) and I like them alot.I have about 30,000 miles on them. Its getting time to replace them though. For the price I think they're hard to beat.
