What's everyone's thoughts on Burnt Titanium Finishes?

What's everyone's thoughts on these? I have a buddy whom is looking to get the Ti5 in white with the titanium lip...personally, I think it's going to look SICK on a white car.

What's the .org's thoughts?

I think it would look sick on a white car and also if the lip is that huge too. What kind of car is it going on?

vball_max Jun 9, 2009 05:16 AM

I think it would be ok on a girls car though.

MrDicks95SE Jun 9, 2009 10:30 AM

Grand_hustle17 Jun 14, 2009 05:42 PM

IHAVEA2KMAXIMA Jun 14, 2009 06:32 PM

Because some names have a bad track record of bending easily. I don't want my wheels bending, but that's just me. :p

names don't become big names for no reason. original designs, material, construction, build quality, r&d, being track proven, etc. are what puts some brands above others. i.e:

company a designs, r&d's, and bulds a high quality forged wheel.

company b makes a mold and builds a cast replica.

they might look and fit the same but they are very different. this doesn't mean wheel b is going to blow up as soon as you tighten the lugs, but don't trick yourself into thinking you got an equal product. you got an inferior product priced accordingly.

most if not ALL of the time you get what you pay for.

PulsarGTS Jun 14, 2009 09:32 PM

Rainbow lips, idk.....sounds kinda gay.

But its not my money so you can have whatever you like same goes for the brand a vs b thing.

QNO_A32 Jun 15, 2009 04:33 PM

ill pass on that ish looks like it should be leading the pack in a gay parade

There's no doubt about the quality with big names, but OP didn't really mention anything about tracking and all that stuff. He only mentioned about the looks, hence why I said name shouldn't matter to me. When it comes to normal daily use, company a = company b to me. That's what I'm trying say.

BLACKonBLACK98 Jun 16, 2009 12:12 PM

everyone has their own take on it. personally, 9/10, i would ride stock before i would ride cheap. there are exceptions but they are low-cost quality wheels rather than cheap.

anomaly117 Jun 16, 2009 02:08 PM

i think they look really good, only if its just the lip, white face, and on a white car.
