Quick fix for my ugly, rusted, old rims?
When I bought my max I didn't care about the ugly rims because I got the car for a really good price and figured I'd buy some new ones in a few months. I was wondering if there were any ways I could make them look a little better, just til January when I get my new ones. They are silver but have rust all over them and look really bad...heres some pics...

Clean them up really good, use a little sand paper on them, and thake some Duplicolor wheel paint to 'em. Should make them look pretty sharp.

Is it really necessary to clean them up to use them for 2 months? It's already November...
A wire wheel on a drill might make the sanding process a little easier. |

wow, they arent coming out that bad after all...i just ordered the paint for them. im surprised that they could look decent and that was just a quick little job, im gonna finish them tomorrow and make them look better. its a pain getting my fingers in the really tiny corners though. is it possible to buy the center caps for them because i think it would look a lot better with them.. |
You will take them off the car to paint, won't you? Ideally you'd dismount the tires, but that isn't too big of a deal. You can work around that.

yea im gonna have my brother help me with that stuff, its too hard to fully sand them while they're on the car anyway. thanks for the info guys ill put pics when im done
