Recommend 17” light weight racing wheels
I currently have 16's that I use for drag racing. I have a Wilwood brake set up so that is going to bump me up to 17's as far as I know. I already have every day wheels that will clear the brakes. I need to find a pair of 17's to put some slicks on. I am looking for something at least 8" wide and probably some where around a +35 offset. Under $200 a wheel is where I would like to be. Any suggestions?

MB Motorsports Competition or Weapon. I bought a set of MB comps about a year ago for $110 each at Discount for a 17x8 +25. they weigh ~17lbs each. not bad for a cheap wheel.
or go with the classic 5Zigen FN01R-C. about $175 each and same weight.

I'll look into those, I would probably try to find a little bit higher offset to pull them in a few more mm.

I just sold a set of 17x9's that were +43. I would have kept them if the offset was lower. I did not want to have to run a set of spacific spacers on a set up that does not get used that often.
Do you know of any sites that specalize in light weight racing wheels? I am lost with out edgeracing

yeah I know about those and I like the wheels, the only thing is last time I checked they are no where close to $200. If for some reason you run across a pair then please post up.

for your size the cheapest i could find was $238 but if you find any lower call http://www.gruppe-s.com/index.htm and tell them that price and they should price match or go lower for you.
also found these for $215 (sorry hard to find a 17 inch wheel for under 200.
http://www.gruppe-s.com/team_dynamics/prorace12.htm.
they run about 19.8 lbs and have a 33 or 38 ofsfet

I don't know much about fixing bent wheels. The thread says an easy fix....

Some Motegi Racing's are cheap and light like 17 lbs for 17's and19lbs for 18's on the SP10 model that I like that can bust for track and DD so many tire shops out here like 75 bucks a tire or set of 4 for like 225 or 250 not G *** hell tires but to get the job done I guess like D' centi or something!!
