RPF1's +38 offset
 

As of now the car is sitting on XXR 521's 18x10R, 18x8.5F +25 all around and Im loving the flush look.Will the new set up(18X9.5 all around +38 offset)look good?Anyone running +38?Does the wheel seat close to lip of the fender or they stay tucked in?Any pics you can post will be appreciated.I'll be running 225/40/18 on all 4 wheels and have already considered getting some 10mm spacers in case I don't like the fitment.Another question,I have never run a set up spacers before so will I need extended studs if I was to run a 10mm spacer?

iirc, a HIGHER offset = closer into the center of car. i.e 40 offset sits further out than a 45 does.

YOur rears will be more sunken in than they currently are, if I did my math right.

if i'm thinkinf right those are going to barely be flush. if you run spacers, some come w/ studs...i think w/ studs it starts w/ 15mm spacer...i'm 99% sure you are going to want to look at extended studs though

think about it like this...25mm = 1"...there is a 13mm difference off top w/ the offset of all wheels, that's just over 1/2" difference of how much it'll sink in, then take into consideration you are going smaller in width by 1/2"...so the rear wheel as it sits now, subtract roughly an inch of it sitting in, that should give you a good idea of where your wheel will be sitting

Looking strictly at the wheel widths and offsets, according to http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp, the 9.5" +38 wheels will sit 19mm IN compared to the 10" +25 and the same compared to the 8.5" +25. So you might want to go with a 15 or 20mm spacer for the rear if you want it to look similar to your old setup.

Already got it figured out,after test fitting the wheels I've decided to go with 5mm spacers for the front and 10mm for the rear.

You should go 15mm spacers all around.

Im trying not to change my studs.

IIRC 15mm spacers come w/ studs when you bolt on the spacer...

15mm+ should be bolt ons

It appears H&R has 15mm bolt-on spacers (DRM series), but he'd have to make sure his wheels have the clearance next to the lug holes behind the wheel for the OEM studs because they'll be sticking out.

And with 10mm spacers you'll need extended studs.

No spacers for the rear,will run a 15mm offset wheel.
