Nokian Entyre recommendeds 38psi???
Hi All
I just had a set of Nokian Entyres installed on my 2001 SE (225/50/17). I thought the tires were riding harsh (dealer messed up and had them from 34-37), so I contacted Nokian in Finland to inquire as to what they would recommend. The recommended psi under the armrest states 32psi front and back, so I was curious. Here was the answer: "1-3 pers. 260 kPa / 260 kPa Full. 260 kPa / 280 kPa" 260kPa?? That's 37.8psi! Do these numbers make sense to anyone? |
I forgot to mention that I brought the psi down to 32 front and rear, and man it rides like mush. I even have a shimmy in the steering wheel that wasn't there before.

most passenger car tires are max 35psi or max 44psi, technically youre supposed to go by the psi indicated in your door jam/arm rest which in your case is 32psi. my own stuff i just run 40psi, to me 5psi isnt a huge deal
