Scraping while braking. Not my brakes
Hello,
I'm new here, but I was needing some help to figure out this scraping sound while braking. I just changed my brakes yesterday so I know they're not the issue. I've been told it could be a bent dust shield or a rock between the dust shield and the rotor. But if that was the case wouldn't it cause the sound all the time? I thought it could be the wheel bearing, but in my research the sound it makes doesn't match the sound my car was making.
Thank you all for your help!
