Tax Return= NEW STUFF!!!!

Well I finished doing up my Taxes... and for the sake of some members I will not post how much I got. Let us just say it's quite a bit. So after sitting down and drooling over some stuff, I have narrowed down this year's list.

Koni struts - Shox.com
Eibach Springs - Shox.com
Blehmco RSTB - Blehmco
SP Performance Rotors - raceshopper.com
HAWK Performance Ceramic pads - raceshopper.com
Techna Fit SS brake lines. - raceshopper.com

Almost forgot, traveling to TN to pick up my new hood also.

Now for the interesting part... what else is everyone else getting? (Btw... this isn't everything I'm getting, this is just for my Maxima)

Yeah I think that's kind of a jip. I love around $2800 to EACH of those. And will probably never get to see a PENNY from either of them when I get older.

I will say this though... while I might be getting a NICE return back. What I had to go through honestly isn't worth it.

I have 2 kids (which bring around $1000 each in EIC). Not only that, I had 5 months Tax Free Combat Pay. Yep that's right, I had to spend 5 months in a combat zone just to get this nice of a return.

I'd rather sit at home with just the wife, and be happy with my $800-$1500 return. No noise, no shooting, no aggravation. Though raising kids can be fun (lack of sleep talking) LOL

Got everything to do my swap but a few nuts and bolts and got a UDP. Hopefully getting an additional student loan for "living expenses" (pronounced new parts and beer) then getting suspension, intake, exhaust and repaint the bumper covers, and son blehmco goodies. Oh yeah, and some mild tint. All of this before the snow melts!

between my wife and I, we're getting really close to 5 digits worth of tax return. I get a new clutch and if i do the work myself, i might be able to squeeze out a y-pipe or something.

Most of the rest is going to bills and moving expenses... so there may be a "moving-fund budget excess splurge" in a few months...

if you'd all live in sweden you'd end up like me, nearly $1000 debt to the tax office almost every year...

wish I won the lottery or something

That's a good return. I wasn't too far off from there. The wife doesn't work, I don't make enough to put both our kids in daycare. Luckily my son starts this year, so she can go back to work.

I should end up with a decent refund since I only worked 75% of the year last year.
Depending on the amount I may just pay down the wife's van. or maybe I'll just save it.

I should also get a decent return. I have to put a bunch of it toward a new truck I bought last week.

I need to set aside some to put the new transmission in the max, but I have most of it taken care of.

Nix the brake stuff and buy mrgone's bbk that he's selling. You might need another set of wheels to clear them though. Then buy my last set of REAR bbk brackets and cheap set of Z31 rotors

Which means I gave an intrest free loan to myself... cause due to my wonderful job (all sarcasm intended) I pay for my own paycheck when I pay taxes.

And since most of us pay taxes, you're paying for my paycheck. Allowing me to pay for my interest free loan. TY EVERYONE

I'm considering buying an engine with tax $$. They want $1500 to fix my vtc's at the dealer. I can get an engine from car-part with 78k for 450 plus shipping. Then I would have an engine to play with. Good idea??

Not a bad one. I plan on pulling my engine and tranny and doing a complete overhaul... with a few goodies being thrown in when I build everything back up.

Stock hood, mine has a bunch of hail damage. It's cheaper to just find one that needed painting than have all the dents pulled.

Next year I plan on getting the Sarona Design Kit, and having the car and body kit painted.

talking about the 6th gen... I just found out they're only sold in north america, but there's a firm importing those in stockholm... look at this http://www.blocket.se/vi/6527480.htm?ca=8_s

they're asking half a million swedish... that's about $66k :O
but it has all the options and 0 miles in the clock

That's weird... I just got done looking through all the Europe sites, and the only country that even has the Maxima is Russia. But it's still not the U.S. body style

Of course I always thought of Russia more in the Asian continent.

yeah you're right, this isn't any nissan related firm, it's simply some import company whose business is based on importing attractive cars that aren't sold in sweden normally.

and yes, russia is sort of a grey zone. actually it belongs to asia, but they've always belonged to europe in a way... for us anyways. probably because it's such a large country, streching from finland in the west to japan in the east. moscow is almost like any other european town but the east is somewhat after in time, or so it seems.

the cars sold here are a bit different than you've got over there generally. we had the 3rd gen through 5th gen but never 1st, 2nd or 6th gen maximas (as far as I know), but the 4th gen for example didn't even look like the 4th gen in north america if you ask me. japanese makes had a hard time getting into the swedish market for a good while (though it's getting more of them now), so I guess they had to make some adjustments to get sold over here. maybe that's because most ppl here are true to volvo and saab, the two swedish makes. or maybe because we had a tv-show featuring 'Bosse Bildoktorn' (would be something like Uncle Cardoctor) that told us you should never buy japanese v6's from the 90's... god damn fraud, he's just a clown.

enough said! (sorry babbling away here )
