What are these wires?

Stupid question from the new guy... Finally getting around to my '96 Max project I bought in November. Had a misfire, and while I was checking connections, I found this wire (circled) had come loose, the plastic snap had broken. So I got it clipped back together, and now it runs perfectly (minus an exhaust leak). So I was just hoping someone could tell me what these wires are? They dont look like plug wires to me, do they take power to the coil? Errr...? Thank you! - Danny

Looks like injector wiring. Which would conviently explain why your misfire vanished after fixing one of them lol.

Yes, that wire is injector 2 wire. If you fixed it and the misfire is gone, you are good to do.

Awesome, thanks for the responses! Now it just needs exhaust and struts. Not too bad for a $470 car!! 1996 SE, 5-Speed, leather guts, only 170k miles.
