Brake rotor vibration

Ok so I've searched and there are a lot of different opinions on whether warped rotors cause vibration while NOT braking....say at highway speeds or in town speeds..my first thought was absolutely they can...but as we all know never assume anything and always ask questions..my car has a vibration...and its mostly at highway speeds...but u can also feel it rolling to a stop...I've replaced both LCA tie rods in and outer...balanced wheels twice now...the only thing I have not touched are the brakes...any input will help tons...thanks everybody

There is some controversy if the problem is a warped disk or brake deposits on the disk. . In general, a warped disk would certainly cause the vibration.

Another possible cause could be bad wheel bearings.

I would assume warped disk. Replace with new one from Amazon.

I had the same problem. No steering vibration. The harder I pushed on the brake, more vibration.

Your bearing is most likely ok.

I replaced the disks and pads. Problem fixed.
No more vibration.

After change your brake rotors make sure do not wash your car if your brake discs are hot.
Hot rotors x cold water = vibration
Most of people do this mistake

If you change your brake rotors, be sure to bed them in or they might warp.

Ok so out of curiosity I went outside and checked out my tires...they appear ok except for one wear spot on the outside edge of the passenger tire...I straightened the steering wheel and look down the front of the car...it looks like the pass front tire is pointing away from the center of the car...I had the outer tie rod ends replaced couple weeks ago....so I'm assuming the alignment is now off causing the uneven wear spot on tire

After I do any front end work, I get an alignment. Wear on tires can be caused by a few things including bad wheel bearings and unbalanced tires. I don't think warped rotors cause that kind of wear.

My alignment guy is out til after thanksgiving...you think giving the tie rod end a few turns outward may help until he gets back? Just to push tire back towards center of the car?

If you can visually see that the tire is pointing out, then giving the tie rod end a few turns won't hurt.

Update.....gave the pass tie rod end 2 turns...think may have been one too many...will give 1 turn back tomorrow...and one turn out on drivers side.....my steering wheel is about an 1/8 of a turn to the pass side...I will get this right before thanksgiving...or At least close to right until alignment guy gets back
