Ac compressor clutch not engaging

Hi ,after doing some reading on this forum I performed some test on my ac compressor

With a gauge my ac low pressure side was reading empty so I added some freon but ac compressor will not engage

All fuse inside car and under hood checked and are good

Switched relay fuse with one that I know work for sure(fog light) but the compressor clutch still not engaging

Did the paperclip trick on the air conditioner relay with and without the pressure switch cable connected and again
Ac compressor still not engaging

Checked if compressor wire cable was plugged to alternator and its plugged
its an 2001 maxima

What else left to do ???
Thanks for helping and excuse my English

If you are 125% certain that you jumpered the correct pins on the relay, that leaves just 2 possibilities - broken wires or the clutch solenoid windings are open (bad clutch).

You can check the clutch windings and wiring for continuity with an ohmmeter.

BTW, was the fuse you checked under the hood?
