Switchback Turn Signals

Does anybody have any good suggestions on where to purchase switchback turn signals? Or a good brand for a 2011 Maxima?

I've went thru about 4 sets of switchbacks & none of them stay down inside the socket. I push them down fully & as soon as I go to place them in the housing, they pop right out inside of the light housing & I have to fish them out.

I've been on eBay & I've purchased the correct size but they've all seem to do the exact same thing.

I was able to find 2 of them I purchased of ebay. They wouldn't fit in the socket at all on mine.

Any luck on amazon? They look cheap and similar so maybe the same bad result. I just can't afford to spend $50 on a set of bulbs let alone $300 but I guess you get what you pay for too :-(

Yeah I'm with you on that. A couple of people I know has those exact same ones that I tried with on eBay & they work fine on their's but won't fit inside my sockets.

I've seen some in the 30$ range that I'm gonna test out.

Our cars require a 3157 CK-based bulb. At least one of the eBay links you posted are for a 7443 socket, thus the loose fit.

As for the bulbs that you have listed already, I believe those bulbs will be very dim.

This is the exact issue that I've run into while researching for LED bulbs. Which LED bulbs did you purchase exactly? The issue is that VLED is constantly updating their lineup of LED bulbs (minus the Triton series) that the ones linked by forum members are no longer available. I know that is not your fault, but it does make purchasing stuff like this a lot more difficult as you are not sure how the performance will be.

No worries my friend. You ask and you shall receive. The link below is for the switchbacks I purchased from vleds. You will need the 3157CK bulbs and the kit comes with everything needed for install. It's pricey but I like the overall look of the frontend without the ambers.

Good luck

I'm in just north of Montgomery County. That's weird that your car takes a different bulb type. Not sure what to tell you guy.

You'll love them and the install is pretty simple.

Install should be alright. I'll have my headlights apart to customize them in the next week or so, so I should be pretty familiar with where they'll go when the package arrives.
