Looks very nice, Abe! I see you went with Rohanas also. Nice choice.

8.5 wide is pretty narrow. I almost went 10 before settling with 9. Regardless how flush it sits it will look too narrow when looking at it from the rear.

Having gone 9 with a 35mm, I would not hesitate to do a 10 with a 40mm if I did it again. The Maxima has big hips and a narrow wheel will look off.

I would like to go wider but I still wanna be able to rotate my tires. Could I go 9.5 all around and what would the offset be around +40

I'm running 20x9 35mm with 245/35 on all 4. Rotation is not a problem.

You could still go 9.5 on a 35mm

A 20x10 with a 40mm and a 255/35 would be fine.

Decisions decisions im trying to convince myself on the 9.5 or 10 inch I wonder what the difference in weight would be and how much does it cost to replace bearings in a 2014 max

Not positive on the offset. I got lucky and found them used. Local guy was selling his 09 Max, and was willing to sell the rims and tires separate. He only had them one summer.

As far as lowering, I really don't see the big deal imo due to the fact it is only an inch /inch and a half and with the size wheel you want and the offset you should not have any issues with alignment or rubbing. I'm sure others will chime in but I guess I was just lucky not to have any issues at all. Sometimes looking through treads can be a little discouraging but not everyone has issues with this car. I'm staggered 20x9/20x10 on eibachs with no rubbing or alignment issues!

Good luck!
hey what year is your maxima i just picked me up a 2013 will the 20×10 fot the rear

I just got my Max a couple weeks ago and I have to say I'm truly inspired by u guys to put money into her I love all your Max's, great job. So am I understanding this correctly, I can do 20x10 all around with a 40 or 45 offset? I'll end up doing lowering springs as well if possible ^.^

Staggered or not??

Hi, I'm a Maxima Newbie and was wondering if I could get some opinions on
is staggering the wheels on these cars is a good idea. I'm going with TSW nurbs, but can't decide between the 20X8.5 all around or 20X10 on the rears. I don't think the wheel has much or any concave to give it a different appearance. It will also have The Eibach prokit put on at the same time. Any thoughts or insights would be helpfull, Thanks

I have the pearl white... I was thinking of getting black chrome wheels but my wife, dad, and mom all said I should get straight chrome because of all the chrome accents already on the car. SO, my issue comes in the fact that I like the look of black chrome SO I might buy that stuff that turns chrome to black chrome (Forgot the name right now) and do that to all the chromed surfaces. But NOW I was looking at all the wheel's posted up here and I'm torn! I have plenty of time for this... but like to think about it plenty in advance.

Don't ever do actual chrome. Ever.
It is extremely heavy for a coating, and you will really notice it.
Go with machined/polished wheels if you go that route.

No, I mean chome LOOK ... Yeah, I've handled OLD Chrome wheels from helping a friend and his dad when I was a kid... I'm really leaning towards black and blacking out all my chrome accents.

Maximam.........I love the Essen's, do you have any 3/4 shots or/and straight down the side to show more of the flushness? Seriously thinking about these wheels. Thanks!

Quick question...I have a 2011 Max w/the 18" stock wheels. Just bought some TSW Vortex 19x8s +45 offset. I know I'd be safe with running 245/40R19 all around, but what about 255/35R19s?

Thoughts?

245 is generally the widest you want to go on an 8" wheel.
Going wider leads to more sidewall roll over and flex when turning.

So, got the TSWs on. I wanted to go for a simple, clean look. I'm really liking them. Just trying to decide if I want to drop with Eibach and/or install spacers.

Hey guys...I'm new to the forum but have visited the site a lot in the past year for ideas. I have a set of Lexani CVX-55 20x9 40mm offset on 245/35/20 Triangle UHP TR968 tires. I'm happy with the setup but still debating on whether the Eibach springs are needed.

Anybody know the biggest tire to go on 20x9 wheels. I know the most familiar is 245/35 20 what about 255/35 20? Will that be too much rool and flex??

MaximaDrvr... thanks for the info. I had to go back a few pages to catch a pic of ur Max, it looks good and im a big 5 spoke fan so im torn between wheels like yours and like Maximam's wheels.
As far as concavity, how would u have gotten ur current wheels to b more concave? More or less offset? Wheel width?

It isn't really possible. They would have to be wider, and lower offset. Both of those would make the wheels poke out, instead of being flush or inset.

These are the other wheels I run. 18x9.5 et38. 275/40/18

245 are better fitted to the 8.5" width.
A et30 would be just inside flush.

Also, 22s are dumb. Search to forum for the reasons why.
