Trap speed

How do they know how fast you are going? I went to Englishtown and kept my radar on, but nothing happened.

I believe its determined by sensors at the bottom of the track, you can see them when you get ready to stage.

The last 66' which is usually yellow crosshatched on the asphalt determines the top speed. The length of time for you to go through that 66' space is computed into your speed by the computer.
