Heading to the track tonight.

This will be my car's first time to the track. I ran my 1991 SE 5spd a year ago and got 16.54 stock.

Now with a VE 5spd, Im hoping to do a little bit better, but not that much. I wonder what you experts think I will get with the considering factors:
Mods-
Hot Air Intake
Hi-flo Cat
5th gen muffler

Problems-
Some broken tranny bearings
Slipping clutch
worn struts/springs

Im thinking that my times will be slower than stock because of those things and the fact that the track is in NH with high elevation I believe. I am mainly going to run the car because I want to see before and after times. I am putting in a new Tranny, and Exedy Stage I clutch by the end of the month. I will run once again after the mods.

Wish me luck! I am hopin for at least a 15.9

The track was very difficult last night. The water box was trickling off to either side, so no matter what your tires were getting wet too.

What was your best run? I couldn't pull off anything better than 14.4.

The water box screwed me up real badly. I was only able to get 2 runs in. 15.96 @ 86mph and 16.09 @ 87mph. Bad times for a VE 5spd I know, but my post above explains a lot. My 60' were terrible (2.4 and 2.7), but then again so was everyone's. My clutch slipped through 1-2 and 2-3. It was like I was driving a VG auto.
