pulled a 7.6 second 0-60 run tonight
aight so i had a little time to kill today so me and my friend went out to a back road for some 0-60 runs. i know its not perfectly accurate since he was using the stopwatch on my timex and he was just looking at the speedo, but its close enough for me. anyways my best was a 7.6, but also note that the road i was on has a curve in it and that effected my times, as well as my hesistating coil. but all in all i think i fared pretty well considering i was only a second off the professional time of 6.6 that motor trend got. so has anyone else clocked there 0-60?

Using your timing method I clocked my 0-60 at 5.4 seconds
Of course I probably
1) unconsciously gave myself like .1-.2 seconds to get rolling before starting the watch
2) unconsciously stopped the watch like .1-.2 seconds before the speedometer read 60
and the really big issue:
3) when running lower aspect ratio tires your speedometer is off - towards the high end
However, a g-tech is a more accurate way to go. I got a 6.5 before my last 5 mods and running heavy so I am curious to check again.

I think thats what R&T puts it at... but by me it is real hard to find some road with no salt/ sand on it... so I can never get a good launch....
