FIRST SL et's!!!!! LOOK OUT!!! SE's!!!

Well I was shocked at a bit suprised at my 04 MAXIMA SL!!! First time I ever too this lil beast to the track!! I just got back from the "STREET WARS" race at E-town. Best et was 14.82@93.89. I know with a sticky tire it will go 14.5 or better. If ran between 14.97 and 14.82 all day. I went 5 rounds then went .-005 red in the semi's. I was also shocked at the weight of this car. I was 100%
street trim. 1/3 tank of fuel. Hell I even forgot to remove the crap out of the trunk (2 cases of royal purple, and a huge commercial battery charger) this
bad boy weighed in at a heft 3840lbs..I weight 270. All in all I am extremely pleased at this car!!!! the time slip reads as follows.

r/t.018
60'..2.295
330'..6.298
1/8...9.575
mph..75.59
1000ft..12.403
1/4...14.82 @93.89

The best .60 all day was a 2.264 ..14.90 @ 93.01

There was no icing down, tire pressure changes or anything!!! Next time out
I'll empty the trunk and do a few other little tricks and 14.6's will come

Tony

4 speed auto weighing 3840lbs still trapping 93 I'd say they are way underrated.

The SL's that are shipping now have the 5AT, and the 05 Alty's have the 5AT too. Looks like the 4AT is going bye-bye from Nissan's V6 lineup.
