That 60' is awesome bro. The best part of it is the healthy trap. I believe every bit of 265 hp...The 5th gens are making 93mph stock, and our rating should be 245 hp.
Great time bro!
How many runs did you get in total? What was your worst time and worst 60'. I have a hunch that the 6th gens just seem to plant a lot better, a lot of it having to do with the wider footprint...
yes please let me know the weather. I ran the 14.3 stock on oem wheels and tires when they were gripping ok. Anyways I was trapping 96 mostly and 97 on one run. Ive been back twice since I got the injen installed on oem tires but they were toast then and Best was 14.8. Went back not last weekend on a decent night and left with a 14.7@94. my car isnt trapping like it did that one day. being on 19s might effect it but the new tires are better than the oems so I think it makes up for it. I dunno It seems like my traps are way lower than that one day. Can weather do that because I know the 14.3 day the weather was perfect, 50s I think and the humidity was in 30s. the last time temps were in high 60s and humidity in the 70s. I dont get it.

I had about 10 passes that night, it was about 55 degrees and not to humid. If pass was a 14.8 cause I was learning how to launch the max, my best 60' trap was 1.9X (don't have the slip in front of me). But even with the 14.6 I was still spinning them off the line. Now I have the injen cai and hope to trap 96-97mph @14.2-4, but from what you mentioned glude I may be running slower times. I pretty certain that those 19's affect your 1/4 mile times because you are trying to rotate a larger (more weight, torque used to spin the wheels) radius as opposed to the stockers which make almost the same radius but subsituting air a dn rubber for metal. Warmer weather and humid diffenetly play a factor in racing, the more humidity the stickier the air which doesn't flow as well mixed with warmer air (higher temps.) which doesn't perform as well.
What were all your times?? I really dont think the 19s slowed me down, I weighed them and my stock wheels and tires. Stocks were around 53 lbs and 19s with tires were around 54 so no dramatic weight difference and not to mention the new tires are wayyyy better than the oems. Even if the 19s slowed me down that doesnt explain the lower traps on the day I ran with the injen when I was still on the stock wheels and tires. I just dont think the intake did much good, seems like it hurt top end but I could be wrong. Thinking about switching it to a WAI or running the injen pipe to the oem box I had with the k&n panel filter. Most older maximas say thats the best setup and the CAI isnt all what its cracked up to be. I guess I will find out sooner or later.

I learn as I go but, on my 4th gen, i could chirp them in second gear with the stock saw blades (15") but I jumped up to 18's and couldn't even get them to spin off the line. The moment arm on 19's is an 1in farther out making it work harder to spin the wheels do the access weight of metal oppossed to air which has a unit wieght (lb/cubic ft)much less then the steel on you're 19's. That sucks you're times are lower with the CAI. I'm gonna try to head out to the track this week and see if the injen was worth the investment. All I'm looking for is to trap 13.9's and then the modding is done. I just hope it's possible with out boosting.
great run!!! in the 6th gen top ten that puts u in 4th place right after my 14.4 and a tad ahead of my 14.64.. my 60ft on the 14.64 was a 2.18 but the heat killed the time. i never had a chance to go back after my 14.4 run in cool weather. i know i can squeeze a 14.2 out of the car bone stock.. on the 14.4 run the 60ft was 2.2 something..
