Here is a video of our car from this past weekend. This was our first pass in the 8's EVER!!!

We stayed in the mid-8's all weekend We lost to Titan in the last round by .14 sec's. Can't wait for next race in Bristol....we're gonna try to get Titan this time

That thing looks fast just sittin............but deadly on the track

It is "street legal". Still has tags and rolls on DOT tires. The open exhaust and leaded gas might be kind of hard to pass but otherwise, the car could theoretically still drive on the street.

 

speed is about money, the question is..... how fast do you want to go???

 

8 Second street tire imports are definitely not cheap to build. At the same time Batlground has done more w/ less than just about anyone else running ST class.

Think of it this way...Batlground is running up there beside Titan and MSP on a budget probably less than what those other teams spend per month on their transport trucks. It's a hell of lot more than anyone's spent on a Maxima so far but then again there are plenty of Supras going for 30-40k stock still for some obnoxious reason. There are also guys spending in excess of 100k to build their cars into dyno queen/cruising cars that would implode if actually raced. Supras are cars for guys w/ serious egos and lots of them get bruised if something challenges the heirarchy.

Makes me feel all good inside seeing our graphics all over a car that actually goes somewhere quickly...

Just so it doesn't get too off topic, these are the guys that got Shadow's car over 300whp at 7psi.

Dan builds fast cars all of the time with a little budget. Look at the 240's he's built. I think it's more about being smart with the money you have and doing your research.

Although money is very nice, too....we all love money.

 

I've seen the Battleground Supra in action, and it flies!! Quick @$$ car!
