Never had it on the 4th Gen. Also the colors are different for each o2 sensor because I have 2 to tap into for the 5th Gen. The reason I didn't connect between the o2 and connector is because I couldn't determine the pinout and I wasn't going to connect in without being sure.

Presently I have the simulator disconnected and no CEL.

>>I got center caps with mine<<

Did you buy them new?

What about Jime, did you buy 'em used? That may be why you didn't get centercaps...

I got mine used with no centercaps....the reason for this is because, I don't need the center caps, and the center caps sell for around 40 bux each on ebay, so this is a cheaper way to go...no center caps

Did you buy them used or new?

NEAL:
>>if you already have to shift into 4th and are not planning on MEVI and JWT ECU then yes i'd go with that size. if you are planning on getting mevi and jwt ecu then things get more complicated.<<

I know you'd be in the power band longer with 26 inch tire if you have the MEVI... but you'd still have the quicker acceleration. Wouldn't that be fine with if you can get the traction to the ground.

It's not about being in the upper RPM longer its about not having to shift into 4th gear. Shifting loses time. I think you'd lose more time with a shorter tire and wasting time shifting than you would with a taller tire that you don't have to shift 3 times.

Then why are you suggesting a smaller tire for near stock cars? We're still gonna lose the time shifting...

Stock or near stock cars have to shift into 4th anyways... so why not have the gearing advantage also?

K... I was planning on getting a full cattman setup (headers/ypipe/highflow cat/catback/CAI) as well as lighter wheels for 2005 (that should put me deep in 14-second territory, wouldn't you think?)... maybe mevi/ecu/slicks but thats 2006 or later...

I'd get Ypipe ECU and MEVI before I got all that other stuff personally, and skip the high flow cat entirely. Ypipe ECU and MEVI and a simple filter on a stick should put you in low 14s if you can drive.

Problem is, most of my exhaust system is gonna have to be changed in a matter of months, so I don't have much of a choice for now. Plus, since I'm planning on getting the whole thing eventually (before or after mevi), might as well do it now. I save about 200US if I buy everything together.

You might be able to get them to seat on a 6" wheel, not sure.

Try this link: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...+Drag+Radial+2

Those tires fit a 6.5"-7.5" rim, so they should mount up OK... Good luck.
