I know the diffrences between the two but how much stickier are the slicks than the drag radials? Any benifits to either? With the drag radials i would be able to slap them on on a friday night and go out on the street with them, where as the slicks i obviously wouldnt want them on the street.

Slicks are much stickier. DR aren't that much better than street tires (Well they are, but there's no competition between DRs and slicks). Plus, if you're going to slap 'em on every weekend, might as well do it at the strip.

Unless you're paranoid that somebody's going to steal your street tires. In that case bring a shotgun

slicks are alot stickier. DRs are good for cutting about .2 off your street tire times generally and slicks are good for about .4 seconds.

nice thing about DRs is you can drive them on the street if you like to street race or want to put them on and take them off at home. you can't do that with slicks. well you could i suppose but that would be incredibly stupid.
