its a straight up 3.5 wuth 3.0 det heads and the pistons are what make the compression not the heads.

If ya get a sticky track, I'm willing to bet you hit 13's. Dunno if you had a full interior, but if you did, pull the front and rear seats. That should gain ya a tenth. Good luck!

where would you buy the heads to make the 3.0 into a 3.3?

Heads won't affect the displacement of an engine.

Rob, you don't gut the interior when you run do you? You're running w/ everything in the car, including spare?

Do you have a write up on the build. I recently (Sunday) blew a cylinder, and am very interested in something like this for the Winter.

Can you do it tomorrow? J/K, I have to swap the motor as it is now, and I was hoping to build something nasty for next year. I'm still not sure if it is just a bent valve, or a piston problem. It only held 75psi on one of the cylinders, and it still ran 13.7 at the track. I thought there was another reason that my CEL came on.

what about those of us that are too far and too poor to pay someone else to do it? I was thinking about doing something like a 3.5 bottom end this winter as well.

This is intersting. Several months ago I had people talking about the same thing and no one actually came forward to do it.

You sure it'll work with your 3.5 bottomend?

Now you need to beat the best N/A time on street tires for a 4th gen; Neal's 13.83... Although it isn't really fair

I don't think he will have any problem beating my time once he gets an intake manifold and ECU.
