Who are the Fastest 1/4 mile N/A Maximas?

I wanted to post to see if anyone has done the research to find out the fastest N/A Maximas. I know there are a lot in the low-mid 13's but didn't know exactly how many and/or everyone.

That's what we all tried to tell him. He kept saying that 1/4 mile times don't show his "crazy top end power" and that's why his 1/4 mile times were poor but he could still outrun an R1. He even claimed to own a bike (can't remember if it was an R1 or not) and said his car is faster than his bike. It was really funny, he just wouldn't admit he was wrong.

Sure sounds funny to me! Ask him if he can beat a Hayabusa with a Maxima....just for laughs. (btw, it takes somewhere around 800-900hp for a supra to beat a stock Busa...so u get my point).

i wanna hear his responce!

Almost...New engine is in the car, but I need to put the accessories back on. AC, Alt, steering pump, and a few other things. The good news is that I got the title for my Mustang, and I think it could put 15 cars on my Maxima. I have something to drive at least. I am going to try to get a few things done tomorow when I get back from Midas with the 'Stang.

Nightrider claims to run 13.8 I believe. He has not been able to prove his time in his 4th gen VQ Auto. But he has a NRH built tranny and many other bolt ons. But after talking to him for a while, I still can't possible imagine how he's even low 14s in the 1/4 mile. From my understanding, the record for the fastest NA 3L auto Maxima is sleeper at 14.2? Let me know if I'm right.

Neal, you got email and PM.

No, you don't NEED a scanned timeslip if your times are within reason. But if you are claiming to run 13.8s in a NA VQ Auto, you better be able to back it up with a mods list and scanned timeslip.

Yeah my 13.19 is on slicks. My best time on street tires (245/45-17 Toyo Proxis T1-S) is 13.50 @ 106.

If were going to start considering tire type in this list then everyone needs to stay honest... calling drag radials "street tires" is misleading. Sure they are DOT approved but they aren't normal, everyday use street tires. If we start blurring the lines between real street tires, drag radials, and slicks, then we can call Mickey Thompson ET Streets street tires as well, but in reality they are slicks with littly tiny grooves cut in them that wear off after a few passes, but are still DOT legal.

The fastest known 3rd gen is Bryan H 13.8 (VE 5spd with small shot of nitrous) and I think a VE Auto guy did 13.8 with a 60 shot. The fastest known NA 3rd gen is 14.3, set by Bryan H. The fastest stock 3rd gen, I'm sure is something like a 15 flat. Give me a few more weeks, I will easily be the fastest NA 3rd gen.

Sorry you can call them anything you want but there DOT legal ,slicks arent.
My DRAG radials are my street tires , ive put 6,000miles on them the same set i ran those times with and ive driven in thunder storms and all types of weather i would say there street tires.

Like I said ET Streets are DOT legal also, but they give an advantage that street tires don't they are stickier than regular, non R rated street tires. Just like drag radials. The fact that you run them on the street doesn't make them the same as normal street tires.
