Traction question

I got Goodyear F1's and was thinking what if I turned the tires around? The tires are directional but it would seem to me I might get better traction with the "V" facing the other way. Has this ever been done? Is this safe?
Thanks!

It's not recommended. Nosier, not sure about traction gains at the track. Sounds like a bad idea, but IDK

Don't you think they designed the tires that way for a reason?

Hey, I got an idea. You should drive back wards because then you would have a rear wheel drive car and traction would be even better. That way you would not have to turn the tires around too! Wow, why don't people ever think of this stuff.

You might still beat bolt-on civics going in reverse.
