Yeah all I mustered was a 15.1 at 92.99. I'm pretty damn sure, and I hope I'm right, that my tires were holding me back. My 60ft for that run was 2.35 and it was my best of the day. I tried feathering the throttle and all the other good stuff and that's the best it got me. Full run-down of that run,
r/t .216
60 2.35
330 6.646
1/8 9.827@72.84
1000ft 12.703
1/4 15.121@92.99
The tires are some goodyear gp-h or something all season tires at 20-30 psi during many runs.
I have i/y/e as my mods and it's a 5spd. Like I said the 15.1 was my best e/t for the day as was the 2.35 60 ft. My best mph was a 94.13 on a 15.135 run, this was the run right before the 15.121.
I'm seriously addicted to the track now but I need better tires. My first run was a 15.9@90.5, next was a 15.3@93. In every run I had gained over 20mph in the 2nd 1/8 mile and a couple times over 22mph. Any tips?

Edit: My bad, hadn't seen it.

Your 60' aren't that bad. I pulled a 15 flat with a 2.300. With 94 mph and the same 60' you should be able to run 14.8 or so...

i have the same mods as you.. i/y/cat-back, and my first ever time at the track, after the first two runs, i managed a 2.37 60' and still got a 14.76. And my tires were bald as bald can be. So maybe your not shifting as fast as you should be. just a heads up. My 3 runs at the track were as follows:

2.9 60' - 15.5
2.5 60' - 15.0
2.37 60' - 14.76

hopefully, with better tires, my goal is to get a low 2.2, or high 2.1, and pull a 14.5! I think this would be awesome for just i/y/cat-back.(all stillen btw)

Hmm, btw the track is known to be a slow track, but that's no excuse. Oh well.

The 60's are killing you. This is why I don't want to run up in NH because they are known to not prep the track unless there is a big event up there.

I want to get my **** down to Englishtown NJ.
