Awesome man. Looks like Neal is no longer the fastest N/A 4th gen (13.43@102.34). His 60' were 1.8xx however. If you can do that good you'd be almost in the 12s.

How were you launching? At what RPMs? Was the track good? Traction?

did you do anything different to improve your 1/8 mile so much? Most def. if you get that thing on slicks and pull a high 1.8 to low 1.9 60' you will be int he 12's.

5-6k launch that run was like a 3-4k launch. I pulled a few 1.9 60's

you have full 3.5 ? i thought you were running the hybrid setup ? anyways, congrats on one heck of a run ! your consistent runs of 13.4 is great. with my setup i have a best of 14.1 but make passes as high as 14.5 which stinks.

great work man ! at the rate you are going you may see 12's if you can keep pulling things out of that magicians hat in your garage !

BTW: Your last run was 13.8 your weigh in was I think you said 3300lbs or 3400lbs, and on street tires right with VI or EH or MEVI, I forgot.

Now Slicks and wide open 00VI 13.3 and weigh in is at 2985lbs

Thats .5 off your old times that could be done by slicks alone. We stll don't know if the open 00VI aided in improved time and loss of weight would obviously.

If this is right then you should be running faster than 13.3 right or I could be wrong. It seems that if that's true 250-300lbs off old weight should gain atleast .2 off your times and slicks should shed .5 off????

TIlley help me out here...

1. I thought it weighed more than 2985 I guesstimated 3200-3300

2. I was running toyo RA1 tires before (DOT approved radial) pulling 2.0 60'

3. I need too dyno tune it BAD

Once 300lbs might gain me .2 if i was running 16s but the faster you go the harder it is too gain.

300lbs in a sub-3000 pound car will get you .4 no less. Even running 9s my dads car still gains .08-.09 from 100 pounds or so.

well today i was tuning it and i think i found a sweet spot in the AF, at the track i couldnt get my af gauge too show anything but lean. Today i upped all the settings on the AFC and now its running where it should. BTW i did this onto of the JWT ECU program (doesnt allow tuning but i figured out why)

Could you clarify about the JWT ECU not allowing tuning. As in it won't respond to the use of an S-AFC?

Well awhile back i was at the dyno i made +20 fuel adjustment (on AFCII) cause i was lean and under WOT, it would cut it back too the same as previous run....without the WOT switch hooked up it doesnt discard my settings and my fuel stays where it should be.

WOT switch, as in the sensor next to the TPS? Very interesting. I am most likely going to order a Z32 and 550's JWT ECU tune and figured I could lean out there AF a bit with my SAFC-II. Guess not

I adjusted my fuel settings perfectly with my safc2, and I have the jwt N/A program. Are you sure that is the cause of your tuning programs?

Way to go man, great times. And you still got room to improve. Looks like I may need a new engine after all....so be on the lookout for some DE-K's or 3.5's....

I trapped 102.34 with a dyno sheet reading 185whp and 175tq (I think that dyno read a little low it was probably more like 195hp/185tq but I don't know for sure.) So it doesn't sound far off to me. 96sleeper trapped 101.89 with 204hp and a heavier car than mine.

Go back to the 2k2 manifold, or normal 2k, tune the A/F, and run 12s.

I don't think that dyno sounds off. I mean SR ran 12.85@108 in a heavier car and dynoed 263whp/247wtq, so that sounds about right to me. His 60' were similar to yours, too.

Do you still have the 2k2 manifold lying around? Put it on, tune A/F, and go to the track. You never actually tried the 2k2 IM at the track. As stupid as it sounds, I think you'll be faster. Or get another 2k, gutting it might not have been a good idea.
