ok im auto, PR cold air intake, DR mod, no spare or jack,

both runs were against civic SI's 1st one had headers exhaust and intake
second run was stock

1st run

R/T: .372
Didnt record my '60
330: 6.772
1/8: 10.263
Mph: 70.76
1000: 13.274
1/4: 15.8
Mph: 86.96

BTW it was 87.3* 2 mins after first run

The SI did 16.002 @ 87.16

Second run was better i was paying attention @ the Lights. but had a little wheel spin off the line

R/T: .236
60': Not recorded. WTF???
330: 6.540
1/8: 10.011
Mph: 71.11
1000: 13.016
1/4: 15.601
Mph: 87.04

After my second run it was 66.6* about 1 min after run and we are at 23 feet above sea level

i could only get 2 runs before the track closed but there were a bunch of sentras out there and OMG there was a ford festiva running 14.2 with turbo lol he beat this mustang gt and the mustang left with out even lining back up
i even got props for my R/T for first time at track from the announcer

If that's true then your 60's are high. try to get as aggressive as you can off the line to lower them down to the 2.2 range.

yea i didnt really prepare for the launch it was all happening kind of fast (mind you it was my first time at a track) and i didnt want to spin to much and also i think my tires were a little wet because they sprayed almost the whole lane and it was hard to drive around but i think i could get harder on the launch i need to practice tho but as far as that goes i could only get 2 runs but im sure i could get a better E/T because i just feel like i can improve on so many points i still have alot to learn about my car and its capabilities im going to practice launching what worked best for you?

Good times for being an auto and 1st time at the track. Makes me want to go. What's the best track in the Austin/San Antonio area?

Torque breaking at 2000 rpm and letting the auto shift on its own. Also turn off the OD. Now that I have the TS ECU, I will have to shift manually from second but I'll need to get in some runs to see what the best ways for me to run is.

yea i think i was torque braking around 1000 mabye 1300 like i said i didnt really have much time to collect my thoughts and prepare but i was satisfied with my times considering my cars condition (needs a tune up) and i met some really cool people and learned alot while i was there and saw some awsome cars too.

Just curious but why only from 2nd, does that mean that you wont take 1st past redline? Anyway, I want to see your new times b/c you've always been known to be quite fast for an auto.

those times are pretty good for what you have. i had y/e my first time at the track, and was doing 16s, and finally broke 15.994. added the cai and dropped to 15.4, smaller wheels, 15.2. now i have to work on my launching techniques. get a ypipe and exhaust man, you should put out some good numbers

last time out was 15.2 without the cooler. and with my heavy rims. plus the track i go to is known for being slow. i was getting no traction cuase my tires suck too. i dont rember what my 60ft was im gunna go again with smaller rims and better tires. i ran 15.9 with bad sensors and jsut an intake. o and btw lastime i went i had my box in the back with 2 12's so i wont have that in next time i race. hoping to see 15 flat or even 14.9.

well...with the box and subs removed...and no heavy rims (define heavy rims), you should be faster than 15.0. I should hit 15.1-15.0 with a low 2.2 60'. And yeah, i added my cai, and lost .5. I went from 5 spokes to 15" sawblades, and lost .2.

W00T! i got 4 runs in last night at moroso and did fairly well i think it was a great night for me and some other cars out there heres my times

BTW race weight was 3040Lbs measured by track scale

1st Run

R/T .362
60' .2.311
330 .6.537
1/8 9.999
MPH 71.45
1000 12.981
1/4 15.537
MPH 88.33

on this run i had a soso launch my reaction was a little off but its alright

2nd run

R/T -.014 (RED LIGHT)
60' 2.379
330 6.595
1/8 10.037
Mph 71.62
1000 13.005
1/4 15.542

1/8 9.974
Mph 71.69

1/4 15.500

Great R/T and car felt like it hit a wall at 4000RPM in 3rd i have no idea what that was but it literally had a hesitation at about 4100RPM then picked back up

Last Run AND BEST

R/T .117
60' 2.348
330 6.534
1/8 9.976
MPH 71.76
1000 12.946

Remember that im auto with only PR intake and DRmod so i think these times kick A$$

does the DR mod decrease reliability of the tranny?

yea my knock is good and i think the DR mod might help a little ive never ran with it off so i dont really know if it helps alot or not but as far as decreasing reliability from everything ive read it can only help as long as its only used @ WOT. i think my times are great for my car and its mods and my inexperiance at the track i know i can improve because my 60' is pretty high if i can get it in 2.2 area maybe lower ill be satisfied and my time will be around .1 or .2 better

yeah, the DR is good, but DO NOT use it at anything else but WOT. the shifts will give you a neck ache. Tuesday is coming up, im praying for 15.0 baby. Stiffer suspension should help out my weight transfer on the launch and give me the low 2.2 60' i NEED.

im going back on wensday and am aiming for at least 15.45x if i can drop my 60' ill be good i know i can get so much more aggresive on the launch but im scared of wheel spin but i guess i need to go all out at least on one run so i can see how sticky the track is
