Ok this was my first time at the track (1/8 track) and it was fun not at first though. I was able to get in 6 runs before I decided to leave. I wanted to see what my car ran street wise so I did not lightened the at all, my 18's were on, system still in (only an amp and 1 speaker), and a full tank of gas (had a full tank because this was a spur of the moment type thing and I had just filled up earlier cuz gas was going back up). My car was also I little sluggish that day I guess from the heat checked the ecu no codes .

The first two my clutch slipped in first and second gear so I got high times. I figured I was putting to much pressure on the clutch so I left the track and tried it on the regular roads and it was working good. I decided not to rev the engine up at all and went into the other lane just go like a 800 rpms which got me in the 9's. Next couple of times I rev the engine to about 1500-2000 rpms but I was getting bad wheel hop everytime so that slowed me down cuz I let of the gas for a second. Although it still gave me ok 60' times and lowered my 1/8 times. Not bad for my first time I thought. Next time I will put my 15's on, lighten my car up a bit, go with a 1/4 tank of gas.

 

Gradual improvement except for the final run ... Keep working at it .. Get those 60's down. IMO, your future plans will definately net better times

 

That would have been good for a 14.8 at about 92mph. With a 1/4 tank of gas and the stock rims, you'd see a 14.6@94mph pretty easily assuming you get another low 2.2 60'.

so went to the track lol...(1/8th) was able to run a 10.7 and a 10.9...kinda upset about the second one cuz i got distracted (?!!?) yea, well anyway, this is including my bag full of clothes, some fat college books, some boxes, shoes, and all my bedsheets in the trunk (havent cleaned it out since move from college for the summer). had 18's on...i wouldn't doubt running 10.5's if i took idle weight out. another maxima (5.5) was runnin 9.3's, but mine is completely stock except for FSTB, STS, and rims. plan to definitely go again sometime this summer. the experience was bad a$s

 

Yeah it is fun just to do it I'm going to go again with my 15" rims and 1/4 of gas and nothing in my car.
