I finally got to see what my max could do. Not sure if i should be dissapointed, or anxious to mod it. I ran it at thunder valley, it was cool i think around 80 degrees F and it wasn't very humid. The time below was the best time and i had the dr mod and o/d off.

If you have an auto 5th gen and have ran it stock could you please post so that i could compare. Also i am wondering what mod to get first. I am thinking Y pipe. Thanks in advance.

I'm not familiar w/ Thunder Valley... so what's the elevation there?
If @ sea level, or close to it .. (up tp 1000ft), seems as if something is not right Possible culprits--->(coils/MAF/VI)
DR mod might actually hurt you ...
What PM are you shifting at?

When i was stock I ran a 16 flat. It was a very hot day 95+ plus very humid south florida weather and i had a slowly dying MAF. Also it was about 10 mins after dynoing it so it was probably heat soaked.

I don't believe the DR mod can slow you down. It may not help you time much but its virtually impossible for faster shifts to make you slower.
Regardless the DR mod for me is to save the tranny by reducing shift time thereby reducing clutch wear and heat buildup. Its much more beneficial with more power because thats when you really notice the slowdown in shift time. With N/A power the shifts aren't slow like they are at higher levels. I have seen mine take 2-3 seconds to shift from 2-3 with a 100 shot of spray.
Also the 5.5 Gen I have is much slower at shifting than any 4th Gen I have tried.
