New Timeslip Database..
New Timeslip Database..
Alright everyone, I just stumbled over a new feature which will be very useful to this site as we have an already bombarded Timeslip Forum as it is. All you need to do is go to your User CP, select Edit Vehicle Profile, enter in the information ,and it will then be displayed in the Timeslips Database.
http://forums.maxima.org/timeslips.php
Anyone caught screwing around will be temporarily banned and a loss to this feature permanently.

We have a "Single Digit Club" too! Gotta love that!

I'm the fastest 3L NA Auto. But I have a long ways to go before I can do 13 flat all motor. That will never happen.
Luke, is it possible that you can add a couple headings to the main timeslips screen? If you can, I wish it would show "Engine Type and Displacement" and "Tranny Type" on the main screen.
To free up space, I wouldn't mind if you got rid of the 1/8 mile ET and mph and maybe the WHP from the main screen. It will still be there in the details.
But I doubt that you can enter more than one car unless this feature has a 'garage' like I've seen on other forums. In this garage, you can add several cars and keep track of your mods and other crap. It never caught on with that particular forum, but maybe it could allow you to add several timelips for each of the combination that 96sleeper has gone through.

perfect like it is. i like the 1/8th's, & whp for those who have dyno numbers, and checking out vehicle weight on the details page is cool. seems like some of us compete in that too. Dang, Jime is floating on air ! LOL !
this rocks, this rolls... ! we have been needing this for ages.
aaron's 3rd gen all motor et is amazing !
will be interesting to see how long it takes before we have 2-3 pages of slips.
thanks for all the work and time it took to get this up !

It wouldn't hurt to permanently post this in the timeslip section so others can calculate DA.
Me and Chris are next to each other on the timeslip rankings. I bet it makes you more frustrated to see me one notch above ya! lol jk
gtr, I'd be more than happy to help you copy and move over LEGIT 1/4 mile times from the 3rd gen section. Most of them I see in the 3rd gen 1/4 mile section are for real, but don't have proof. Then there's one guy that did 12.6 in his 3rd gen turbo, but many people doubt him. He wouldn't show us a full timeslip either.

You can find your pressure by looking up the date, time and location of when you raced in the almanac section here:
http://www.wunderground.com/
It even gives you the elevation of the city you search for.
ok, i see, i have all that on my timeslip, calculating now. dang, mine doesnt look to darn good compared to everyone elses. 2394' boo !
edit: neal where did your killer post go, cant remember if lower is better or higher ? i think it was lower. and aaron what is up with yours ?

The lower the DA, the better. It's just like REAL elevation. The closer you are to sea level, the more dense the air is, which means more oxygen molecules per square inch, which means that the motor will make more HP.
My DA is 601 feet BELOW sea level. Back in the day when I first cracked into the 14s, I remember having something like -1500' DA.

I meant to post it as a new thread to help people out when searching and to make it easier to find so I deleted it out of this thread and made a new one.

I can run a LOUSY time at a track at sea level if the DA is terrible (ie high temps, high hum and low baro).
But I can run spectacular times at a track at 1500 feet above sea level if it has good DA (ie 35 degrees, 30% hum, and 30.5 baro)
Hmm ok I put my time up there but where's the link to the database other than from this thread or from your profile page? I didn't see how to get to it...
Did I miss something obvious?
Did I miss something obvious?
Absolutely not ^^^
There is nothing more annoying than trying to sift through a timeslip database for a particular type of car and having a bunch of other crap show up that you aren't looking for. There are a million other timeslip databases on the internet, this one is for us and us alone. My strong opinion.
