PB: 13.9 5spd 95 3.0 N/A

decided to go to the track today and see how the car ran, my PB of the day was a:

60 -2.12
1/8 -9.045
MPH -78.14
1000-11.727
1/4 -13.987
MPH -98.25

(my best 60ft was a 2.066/best trap mph was a 99.75)

My mods, cars condition for the track

ksport springs with kyb gr2 in the front(stock rear shocks)
00vi swap
5spd
5th gen clutch kit
untuned V-AFCII
Warpspeed Ypipe
fully gutted stock cat
custom bpipe with Apexi WS2
about a 8" long mid pipe from the TB to the MAF
FSTB
JWT ECU tuned for auto USIM

the bad about my car,
-I had 1-205/50/16 & 1- 215/55/15 up front.(1 240sx wheel/ 1 sawblade)
-2x 235/55/16 rx7 wheels in the rear(dont ask why i had it set like this)
-both front tires just about bald
-full interior
-COMPLETELY blown rear struts with fluid leaking out(car bounced up and down the ENTIRE track)
-Busted flex pipe, pretty much running 1/2&1/2 the whole time(going out the tip and the flex)
oil hasnt been change in about 7k miles
running about a 10.8 AFR from 3.2k-5.7k

What do you all think? good or bad time?

Your times suck. Learn how to drive.

Naw I'm messing with you. Good runs. One of these days I'll fix my car.

well, with all 240sx wheels and no pass. & backseat/empty trunk with me in the car. it came in at 3083 with about a 1/4 tank. I'd say with full interior and same gas(i had 1/2 tank at the track) It would probably be about ~3140

thanks, Im on my 3rd MT and this one was rebuilt(unlike the last two) so im kind of afraid of dumping the clutch or revving to ~2k and dropping it. I know cant too much harm happen but I also am afraid of the tires breaking loose. My technique is simply just feathering/patting the gas(never goes above 1.6k) so once the last yellow goes, i kind of slip the clutch & gas at about ~50% until about 20mph then fully lift off the pedal and drive

yea. 1 tire blew out, thats where the 1 sawblade came in at.
the rear was because vqmonster put the wrong tire on the rx7 wheels and it made them EXTRA heavy, lol. so he wanted to use 2 of my wheels and i didnt want to give him 2 different wheels soo....lol. next time will probably have 240sx wheels or millenia wheels up front with DRs and millenia's in the rear with like a 195/205 on it.lol LESS DRAG

I sorry this smell alittle like BS. not trying to be a jerk but you ran the car with all kinds of problems, full interior and with a jwt ecu that tuned for a 10.8 a/f and then brag about not changing your oil and running two different size tires. but if for some reason this is true GREAT times, fix your problems get tuned and some dr's and maybe you'll run 10's

you and I basically have the same mods and are running similar times...good runs. Have you dynoed the car yet? I know with my JWT and VAFC-II I actually had to add a little bit of fuel to get back to 13:1

t6378tp- just for you i will post video proving my exhaust leak/blown shocks/ and tire combo and also a scan of my dynosheet with afr on it. also the ecu is not tuned for a 10.8..thats how rich my car is running due to 5th gen injectors. i think the vafc also has a preset of +3 fuel correction

Strange that the AFR is that way when he's got a JWT.

well, it was that way with the stock ECU. It was at a 10.4afr. Now i have the JWT(tuned for the 260cc injectors{or whatever the size is on the USIM})and a newly discovered bad Bank1 o2 sensor so im almost 100% sure its around there. the car gargles, backfires and pops during daily driving. In between shifts, decelerating, etc.... also theres a decent amount of black smoke from the tailpipe when im WOT

aaron, can you post your dyno. I would like to see it since we have the same mods but when I dynoed with out an a/f correction i was a little over 13:1, and I too have 5th gen injectors.

I’d say you’re leaner than that. The O2 sensor has no input during WOT (1/4 mile) operation.

BTW, this was with stockECU. and i "believe" the o2 sensor was good for these pulls. Also, 2 of the guys from AAM told me my car might be a little richer then what the print out showed because of the AFR reader being at the muffler tip, and my exhaust leak being before the cat.

This run was also done without the intake midpipe and with the power rod in the mainfold removed(which i will never do again)

Dyno runs aside, which ECU did you run the 1/4 mile time with?

I ran ONLY at the track with the ECU like i said. Those dyno runs were almost a month 1/2 ago with stock ECU(as i stated). I only had the JWT ECU in for that track day.

JWT ECU, 7200 rev limit. tuned for USIM

One thing is for sure, your ca was not running as rich as you thought if that run was with that ECU.

It's not substantiated, because I have never seen the JWT ECU let anyone run that rich.
