No but I will open the headers with the 200. I did have an electric cutout but the motor quit so I took it off. The "Y" was quite visible from the side of the car so I just removed the whole thing. Its pretty easy to drop the pipe and just use 1 bolt to hold it together.

I'm not running stock timing now, I will retard a little but not much. I have run up to 32 deg N/A with my current setup with no detonation but also no increase in performance so currently I run 26 deg. I have an excellent knock setup with the utec, it automatically retards x deg on x counts of knock at every 1000 rpm.

wow did not know the utec could do that, can you also set it to pull x amount of timing with x amount rpms or gear if it does this would work great with my fjo nitrous controller.

wish the utec played well with the 4gen ecu but I will look into it more when I am close to getting my g35

is that 2750 with you in it or without you in it?

11.8 yeehaw. I don't know what state your gearing is in with your current slick size but you aren't going to run the same slick size with the 200 shot are you?

Congrats Jim! 200 shot, wow that's gonna be a kick in the pants!

Just out of curiosity what's left in it N/A do you think?

The UTEC does not have any way of telling what gear you are in.

That's without me. Its a bit heavier now, full interior, 50 lb battery, stock rear wheels etc. I also reinstalled the PS.

I think the present setup will work ok. It is around 6k in 3rd now so should stay in 3rd if I rev to 7k.

May be a bit more but not much. Next year I will be increasing the cam timing to 50 deg so that may help the low end a bit more.

You walked into my house (right after I had surgery no less) and hand me a slip saying "I hold the record for the fastest time now" and expect me not to mention on your internet home? Right....

See my talon went 12.132 and his maxima 12.134 so I always rode him about me having the faster car. So he felt it right to rub in the 11 second slip which I was never able to produce in my car (though with the built motor and trans would have happened) before I sold it. I did run 11.6 @ 126mph on my CBR600 but thats not a car so doesn't really count. Though I feel he will be able to beat that in his car as well.

Hmmm... Maybe I should be ordering a Turbokit for the Z? Jime will you at least help me install it?

Mine is a 5spd so there is no direct comparison, but after I swapped pullies this last time I could no longer hook on my 24.5x8"slicks. It would just spin. I tried wider wheels and it didn't help. Between the lower gearing and lack of sidewall, do you think your small slicks will hook? My 26x8.5" do great now. I have yet to try a high rpm launch like I did when I was N/A, but it hooks good from around 3500-4000rpm.

So far so good. When I ran the 11.8 there was no wheelspin and that was on the 23x7.5x15's so I don't anticipate any problems. However I won't probably hit the 2nd stage until after the 1-2 shift. I am going to try a 75 next out of the hole to see how that works. I just finished wiring up the nitrous to my launch control so it will spray immediately.
