'92 Maxima VE30DE MT w/Nitrous-12.75 @ 103.75mph, 1.75 60ft
First pass, left slip. Second pass, right slip.
Before yesterday, I had only driven 1/8 mile once. Finally, I was able to make a couple of full 1/4 mile passes. Overall I'm happy with the results, but my car was definitely down on power. After my first pass, I found out that my nitrous bottle was almost empty and was either improperly filled or somehow leaked with out me knowing or hearing it (unlikely). My afr was in the low 10's and it's normally in the mid 12's. When I ran 1/8 mile 6 months ago, I trapped almost 88 mph with slightly more weight and a 2.5" exhaust. Yesterday, I was expecting to trap 89-90 mph or more in the 1/8 mile.
The first pass, I hooked up great w/14 psi tire pressure. The second pass, it spun a little bit w/13.5psi. The first pass I did a much better burn out than the second pass.
I retarded the timing a few degrees for the first pass. Plugs looked good, so I advanced the timing back to where I normally set it for spray (15 degrees). Then I realized that my bottle was really hot for 1000psi. That's what happens when it's almost empty...
Relevant Mods:
-NX jetted 150-shot
-Z32 pistons (about 12:1 CR)
-Open Y-pipe
-23x7.5 m&h slicks
-F+R limiting strap
-Removed bumper supports, trunk interior trim, spare, sway bars, misc. stuff
-Full interior
Here's the data log and video for the first pass.
The car in the left lane is a gorgeous supercharged NSX.

Yeah you can tell that your bottle was running low pressure really bad on the top end, gaining less than 20mph in the last 1/8th. I had a mostly empty bottle on my PB nitrous run too
Great '60 foots!

Nice 60 foot! My best ET with my VE Auto was a 12.89 @ 104.5mph w/ 1.80 60 foot with the 75 shot. So you're really moving. I bet you were no where near an actual 150 hp shot with the low pressure. I like that 1.75.

Some things to add..
Both runs were made on 92 octane pump gas.
Recently my ISB has started making noise. I almost didn't go to the event because I was very worried that the trans would explode when launched like I did. I just said **** it. If it blows up I'll just fix it like I always do. lol. I launched off the limiter and nitrous was set to engage at 3mph. I didn't slip the clutch at all. Funny thing is, the ISB noise is actually quieter than was before I went to the track. lol.
The data log shows the TPS at 100% from beginning to end on both passes. Didn't lift the pedal once.

Nothing. I just have a Innovate LM-1 and a Daytona Sensor NC-2 nitrous controller. I can adjust timing with my cps and I can adjust fuel with jets or my afpr. My afr was perfect and has been from the beginning. All I had to do was adjust timing. I normally run 20 degrees advance at idle, all motor. I figured I should subtract 1.5-2 degrees for every 50 hp of nitrous. I subtracted 5 degrees to give me 15 degrees (which is stock timing) and the plugs look great. That's all I did.

Oh, I will. I'm going to weigh the bottle EVERY time it gets filled from now on. I'm also going to have some words with the shop that just filled it.

I would always bring my postal scale with me in the car when I got my bottle filled just to make sure before I drove away. And I have my empty weight marked on the side of the bottle so they know exactly how much it should weigh when it's full. I keep my bottle warmer Tstat, gauge, and blow down tube attached to the bottle. So the empty weight is a little more than the usual.

Great runs man! Will be ready to hit the track in mid-May!
Just need to order new tires all around. Will be soon! Kidding about the spares in the back. Just checking to see how it would all look together. I think it looks ridiculous for an Altima, haha!

Also, I would have no problem running the spares if they were lighter. Sure it doesn't look the greatest but at the track who cares.

No I didn't notice that. It was hard to hear your car in those videos due to other cars around you. But it does sound way different than the engine I have in my car now.
There is a VG Turbo that is running some good times. I can't remember where in the 12s he was.

Are you referring to maxmaxima91? He ran a 12.83.
Next time and every time I have it filled, I'll bring a scale and weigh it inside the shop.

Get a 16inch wheel on there and run the 26x9.50 quick time pros. Car will hook like a champ on those.

Damn, that sucks. 17" drag radial is going to be hard to hook on.
My car is the same way. I am trying to find some 16" altima wheels and see if I can make them fit. 17" tires don't have enough sidewall it seems.
My best 60' on 205/40-17 ET street radials was a 1.98. The 275/40-17 should be better though.

Thanks.
There was 380 cars there and it was one of the few cars that I was drooling over and I'm actually more of a domestic fan. At first, I was thinking gorgeous car, but I'd kick it's ***. Then he just so happened to be next to me in the staging lanes and I noticed a blower sitting on top of his V6. I tried to talk to him, but he was a complete douche and ignored me. Too bad my bottle wasn't full 'cause I would have kicked his ***.

Before upgrading to the SE-R brakes I had some 16" Altima steelies with the NITTOs. Tried fitting them on now, even with a 20MM spacer it wouldn't clear the brakes. I doubt it will be any different for you. Unless of course you shave your calipers. Shaving mine aren't an option because SE-R calipers look so cool!

I've never ran the car n/a. My first and only quarter mile pass ever was the 12.75 w/nitrous. I would think it would run somewhere in the 14's, but who knows.

I just weighed my bottle. It weighs 15.5lbs. IIRC an nx bottle is supposed to weigh 14.12 lbs when empty.
edit:
I just got back from the performance shop that improperly filled my bottle. I didn't have receipt or any proof that it wasn't filled properly. I just explained my whole entire story. They apologized and filled the bottle at no cost.
