Intake/Exhaust 6th gen runs 13.1 @ 104MPH
Super excited with this pass tonight!!!
The car definitely has more in it if I can actually get it to hook. lol
There were practically no slick cars tonight, so there wasn't much fresh rubber being put down.
The difference from my 13.3 pass is LOTS of weight reduction.
Here are the mods:
Fujita intake
3" exhaust back to a single magnaflow muffler (Still running the stock exhaust manifolds and stock cats)
NWP spacers
NWP Block off plate
15lb Lawnmower battery (only cost $25 at walmart)
26x11.5-16 ET Streets mounted on FD RX7 wheels (super lightweight)
Stock spare tire on drivers side
Friends mustang bullitt spare tire on passenger side (using the spares dropped 50lbs over the stock rear wheels)
Really simple setup with very little money invested.
My main goal is to go fast without headers and a tune.
Here is the fun stuff:
60 FT_____1.8710
330 FT____5.4481
1/8 ET____8.4199
1/8 MPH___82.89
1000 ET___10.9874
1000 MPH__96.36
1/4 ET____13.1629
1/4 MPH___104.14
I also ran 13.3 @ 104mph twice tonight as well. These passes only had a 2.0 60ft. I finally somewhat hooked on my 13.1 pass, watch the video.

The video might still be processing.
Let me know what you guys think.
12s coming soon if I can get back to the track before the season is over with.
Also, this track is awesome! They don't make me wear a helmet, and they didn't complain about the spare tires in the back. lol

great times and driving
can't wait to see what gutted cats and a safc2 will do, btw I think you can get a standard uprev reflash for 300.00. You just tell them what you have and they will reflash your ecu

Thanks though!
Thanks man!
I just don't trust mail order tunes. When I have money in the future, I will get the headers and do a legit dyno tune with Osiris.

If you think about it, the ET streets that are on the front of the car are not rated for highway speeds. They are just rated for short bursts. I thought of the spares in the same way.
Thanks though.
This is my favorite track. They aren't strict, cool people everywhere, and the announcer loved talking about my car over the loudspeaker lol.
"This is the fastest maxima I have ever seen!"

Guess he wasn't there when I ran in the 12s...
It is a fun track. The first time I went there, I watched them prep the track with Pepsi syrup, using their tractor. Truth. I think the new owners prep a littler better than that.

yea its 12.58 but you CAN beat him cuz he have brain crower stage 2 camshaft, ecu reflash by technosquare also Race weight 3255, 1/4+ of 103 octane! when you earn alot of money then get good cheap mod maybe break 12 sec then try to best to weight reduce and use 103 octane? so what you use octane on 13.1 @ 104 mph?

My car will run 12s as it sits with some good track prep.
I don't need 103 octane, my car would actually run slower.
I made my pass on 91 octane.

If you think about it, the ET streets I am running on the front aren't rated for highway speed either. They are just rated for short time use, such as a 1/4 mile. The spare tires are theoretically fine then. I proved that they don't explode.
The FD wheels weigh right around 13lbs. The FD/ET street combo feels like nothing compared to the stock wheels.
