acting hard you say? And I don't have any DEK "fan boys"

But I mean, if you say so, considering you also mentioned the 00vi being a waste of time. You must know what you're talking about.

Since I am doing a VQ35 swap in the future, a 00VI is a waste of my time.

But hey you have 6.6k post and a buncha modz that make your car go really really fast, what do I know? Oh yah, that your track times suck, and you aren't as fast as you claim, and sadly, I really thought I did need the headers and full catback to make comparable track times, but apparently not, a 4th gen with a y-pipe and a person who knows how to drive (well I'm not great, but I can atleast get my car off the line decently) is obviously too fast for you.

I never made any claims on how fast my car was "quantitatively". I just race on the street sometimes, hardly accurate but whatever.

Be proud of yourself for being able to get your car off the line quicker. Really, frame it up somewhere because I'm sure anyone on the forums can beat a 2.4 60 foot.

Too fast for me huh? You're only saying this because you live somewhere else. What a joke.

Ah, so you're not going to front like you really beat cars that trap 103 now? Ok, that's cool, at least you're back on planet earth, welcome back man.

I will, and the subtext will be, Moncef beat this.

No, I'm only saying that because of your low dyno numbers and slow track times.

What's a 5.7 GTO trap? 103 or a little less?

I pulled on a auto one, but its the street from a roll, you can't really say "i beat this so I must be running this." And its just a street race, call BS all you want but its not that serious.

I was talking about that boosted s13? Or s14? Whatever was in your now non-existent dyno thread.

Either way, still way off topic, MIKERN where are those 00-01 DE-K times???

Sounds more realistic, I can believe that then, sounds like a KA-T S13 I lost to.

Thread gets filled with crap

Thread turns somewhat decent but incomplete

One of the many things that are missing are 00-01 DEK times

As a joke someone said put cef's

Continued on the joke a page later

Still missing 00-01 DE-K times....

100-102 typically. I have held with a auto 5.7 gto...they are slow.

...so you are less than a 101 mph car...103 > 101 > you..

Your stock dyno numbers are higher. He made 200/180, I think.

Correct. I took a 5th gen down the track and it felt like a BOAT compared to my 4th gen.

I don't get it how he made 200whp with all those mods. I had a intake and a straight pipe and dynoed 200whp. I ran a 14.9 with just a intake. I don't remember my trap speed.

I was shocked at the big difference between a 4th gen with a y-pipe and my old stock 5th gen, the difference shows vs. my friends cars, they were all shocked instantly too because of how bad they beat me w/ my 5th gen and now I was even w/ them in the 4th gen.

Your friends beat you bad w/ their 4th gens w/ only y-pipes

My little brother's car ('98) is nimble/lighter (and a far far better turning radius) but on straights we're nearly dead even until I slowly pull away, he has y/i, I have nothing.

A 4th gen w/ a 3.5 on the other hand...

In 2000 I still had my 96 gxe, it had the perfect amount of power for the type of car. A little lacking top-end but it's not like I was racing it. They stole her from me...sumsabishes

Didn't go head to head w/ a 4th gen, the difference was my friends Saab, he'd slaughter the 5th gen, and my 4th gen w/ a I/Y stood a fighting chance, good times, good times....

Probably depends on options. I could see a fully optioned 5gen being a little more sluggish than a 100% base model no sunroof 4th.

Was your 5th gen auto? (I'm not as familiar w/ auto dek's) A 4th gen w/ a i/y should indeed be faster than a stock 5th gen (dek) considering the close 1/4 mile times. Why not try a dek w/ the same options?

I'll do you one better. I see a fully optioned 5th gen (dek) more sluggish than a base model 5th gen lol.

All mines were gxe's except for this 5.5 that I got now.... my 4th gen had I/H/E, pulley, spacers, test pipe, a td messed with vafc and my 5th had I/E and I would start to walk m 4th gen in up top til my governor kicked in... my 5th gen was way faster than my 4th, I think its mental because the 4th feels a lil smaller hence a tad swifter... not so
