Another run at it....15.1@93mph

Just got back from the track tonight and still not running good at all. The track wasn't hooking worth a darn. I would say it would be compared to a normal road.

My best time slip:
60 ft....2.359
330 ft..6.519
1/8th...9.88 @ 73.6
1000 ft.12.74
1/4th...15.18 @ 93.21

I was manually shifting the whole time and tried launching 1 time at 1500 rpm and spun almost all through 1st. Leaving at idle resulted in my best time because I only spun half way through first.

I'm not sure if either my car is down on power or it's the combination of track and weather. It was around 70 degrees. That 3rd gear is a killer though. Instantly hits 3rd and feels like it falls off a cliff.

What was you previous times, are you going to hit the dyno, I remember with my 03 I thought I had power till I hit the dyno and it showed me my engine was **** and like a month later needed a New One...

My previous best time was a 15.3 at 89mph. My 60 foot time this time and last time were the exact same so that means I managed to pick up some power overall.

I probably could have managed a lower time if the tack would allow me to launch. My friends 2001 mustang cobra with all bolt ons with street tires only managed a 14.3 and other faster cars were a good half to second off what they are rated at.

I hope this engine isn't dying. The only dyno local is a dyno dynamics so the numbers will most likely be low compared to a dynojet so probably won't bother.

I believe it's around 1330 ft. I'm not quite sure. Might be getting a different car, something that is manual. If I do keep it ill probably get headers, tune, and bigger intake.

You picked up 20 mph from the 1/8th to 1/4...that is about on par from what I have seen..

Yeah I was hoping for a little better time but can't really complain based on the other cars that were also running. I'm hoping for 14s next time when I actually launch from 2000rpm

Try shifting from 2nd to D, this will eliminate the stupid 3rd egar/OD 200-300 RPM "lag" when skipping 3rd.

MPH is about on par for a "bad" launch (60') and good power.
