Yeah. The previous record was 12.05 with -500' DA and a 3500 stall converter.
Then when I ran the 12.04, I had -1126' DA and a 3600 stall converter. The changes I made to the converter prevented me from seeing 11s since my trap speed suffered too much. The older TC was more efficient.
My new 9" TC should solve all my problems since I will be able to both stall at 4500 or above AND have more whp than before! I am expecting it to shave 4 tenths easily!

Nope. They won't answer my question in the NI Shootout thread. But you'll probably have to email them at info@nishootout.com.
I think Atco is an NHRA track. That means that 11.99 or faster requires a rollbar. IHRA is 11.49 or faster. But I doubt Atco will kick you out unless you are running low 11s or 10s without a rollbar. Even then, it's not an NHRA race and it's solely up to the track officials. But it is a good question to ask them before you make the trip out there.

And what makes things worst is they rarely answer the phone so you can even call the track

Atco doesn't require a cage until you touch 11.49 or faster. Ask me how I know lol..
but Tom is right about Atco as far as tech inspection, and most recently I have been checked for a functioning battery tie down.

Atco is only a few minutes from my house and I go often. They have weird rules like no racing without a helmet and it doesn't matter how slow the car is, were as Cecil doesn't car till you start running 12's. Atco is a nhra track and recently started asking for a fire jacket if you have nitrous or aftermarket turbo system and checking for extend studs and open lugs when your running slicks
And what makes things worst is they rarely answer the phone so you can even call the track

And open lugs are required under NHRA rules so the tech inspector can see how many threads are being engaged. And a fire jacket is required with nitrous. Most real tracks will enforce these rules.
Yeah, a battery tie down is probably the very first thing most inspectors check. Open lug nuts, cracks in the windshield, fire jacket with nitrous, and long pants are probably the most common things I can think of that major tracks will not budge on.
But my local track doesn't even have a tech inspection. They wouldn't stop you until they see a tire fall off or oil spewing out on the track. haha Regardless, I always do my best to follow the NHRA rulebook when building and racing my car since it's more strict than the IHRA rulebook. This allows me to be safer and run at any track in the nation without any problems passing tech.

Aaron get a SFI jacket if you don't already have one. It does get a little chilly there at night. LOL can not speak for ATCO but I know if you exceed the E.T. cut off without proper safety equiptment at E-town or Maple Grove you will be one and done.
Ask me how I know.

And I just read the updated NHRA rulebook and found out that I don't need a roll bar until 11.49. It use to be 11.99 or faster. And a jacket for NA cars is 11.49 or faster. So I can make the upgrades all at once as soon as I start getting close to mid 11s. Rollbar, jacket, seat belt harness, metal valve stems, etc.
