2012 maxima 1/8 mile.

Back in July I took my '12 maxima down the 1/8 mile. It was around 98* and super humid. This was my 2nd time to go racing but the first time in the Maxima. It has 40k miles on it and bone stock. The tires are fairly new but they're just a set of Nitto all-seasons. I had a child seat still strapped in the back and there were a couple of barbie dolls and such hanging out in the back floorboard. It ran a 9.81 @ 73.66 mph.
I had the traction control off, I put it into "sport mode", held the brake and revved it as high as it would let me (2k'ish if I remember right). I didn't use the paddles and let it shift itself. Would it have been better or worse if I would have left the traction control on?

I know some in the 6th gen CVTs would start in regular auto Drive mode then jump into manual mode further down the track or something but for regular 0-60 runs it seems most got their best times letting the CVT do its thing.

BTW what is that in 1/4 times? High 14 or so?

Kudos for taking the CVT to the track
