turbos or nos
turbos or nos
hmmm, i have an 87, and a really big paycheck's comin.
i want to get it nice and fast on the street, just so i can
have fun with it. (mabee a few races)
i was wondering, which would be better to get first:
turbos
or nitrous
?
( i am aware that nitrous does not work all of the time, but its a trade off for how much of a hassle putting in the turbos will be)
any insight on nitrous or turbos in general will be greatly appreciated

From what people have told me, NOS seems like a cheaper easier way to go if you only want some power once in a while. It ends up costing way more than expected because you have to upgrade other items on your engine and it really isn't all that easy to install.
Those same people suggested to go with a Turbo instead of NOS. So if you want both, get the turbo setup first. It will be more fun too, and you don't have to keep filling a bottle.

You got a need for speed? Go turbo. It's been discussed here a MILLION TIMES on what to do and how to do it.
Good thing you can get custom built parts for the VG30ET engine, which is almost identical to our stock VG30E engines.
I'm having a PITA time to make custom parts for my turbo 1997 Maxima (VQ30DE) series engines.
