WTB: 88 Maxima 5spd

I know this is not the right forum, but I want a 88 Maxima SE 5spd with GREY interior. The brown is driving me nuts, my automatic transmission is driving me nuts. Did I mention I'm nuts?

I want one. I really do. If you have one, haven't trashed it, and want to sell it, email me.

It's sad, I went today to see a black 88 Max 5spd for sale. The guy claimed that it was light grey interior. Upon arriving, I noticed that the car's outside was totally trashed. This didn't upset me as much as seeing the car's interior was the SAME tan as mine, just faded severely. He wanted $2300 OBO. The carpet/interior was trashed and stained, I won't even mention the outside.

PS Vote on the poll how meticulous you are about your car.

Ya, I know what you mean by someone saying the car is in great shape and asking a certain amount that makes you think it'll be nice. Then you drive for an hour only to see that in "hickville" the car might be nice, but in the real world the thing is messed up! Then you offer what the thing is REALLY worth and they are all astonished. Of course, then you point to your nice car and tell them how you bought that for half of what they are asking for their junk... and then leave! Muahaha!

Oh, and your car poll really has nothing to do with mechanical maintenance of a car. I spend more time tweaking things on my car and modifying it then I do washing and vaccumming it. I sure wish I had waxed it, then my paint might still be in good shape! :-(

Ever look into fabric paint for the interior of your car?? It can be done, and cheaply, use the search function and see if you get any results or pictures. Goodluck.
