Let Me Explain................

Last weekend we (The Northwest Maxima.org members) held a mini-meet to help one of the guys remove a NOS system from his car. It rained so much that only a handful showed up. So here I am, with the oldest Maxima in the group! (everybody had 97 and up including an I30)I felt pretty much out of place, but they treated me well. I even helped put in a RPM sensor in another members car. But that wasn't even the HIGHLIGHT of the day. Iansw, a .org member was riding around with ebmorgan (another member) to get stuff to change his oil. So we are standing around the second floor of the garage waiting for Ian to come up the ramp with his ride. All I heard was this high pitch whining of an engine when he came up the ramp. This dude has a Supercharger in his car! So, here I am scratching my head, confused because I knew Nissan never made superchargers for their American cars, but there it was, whining away! I was f.ucking impressed! As were helping him out, I was going through his car; suspension upgrades, throughout! Nothing looked stock! Vented disc brakes front and back! He probaly went with the four piston setup. After we changet his oil, We went to get a bite to eat and dump his oil at Jiffy Lube; in his car! The beotch is crazy fast! Those Yokohamas never slipped even in the rain......

So, I apologize for post whoring, i wasn't planning for any upgrades for my car until I get to Germany, where I might get Nismo parts cheaper. They said I had a great sound system.......f.uck that! I want more power under the hood, more meat for my rims, the ablility to stop on a dime and my car will give you nine cents in change!
So those who have done upgrades, let me know how hard/easy it was, what was the difference in power/handling and how much it set you back. I have a motorpool full of tools, jacks and ramps. AAnd I got some skillz, so help a brotha out and stop flaming me!

Stillen makes a supercharger kit for the 4th gens for around $3K. There's also a supercharger kit for the 5th gens, but I'm not sure if Stillen makes that or not. The 4th and 5th gen guys can get pretty much any kind of mod, performance or cosmetic, for their cars.
