My turbo project.

My turbo project.
Hi guys, I thought I would start a new thread just to make sure everyone will read it. I will probably TTT this a couple times just to keep it up for a bit.
Today I nailed all the exhaust leaks and most of the other issues. I remember what my Maxima was like with the stocker, and let me tell you, she's a whole different beast now. This swap is highly, and I mean highly recommended. But do it right.
I am so thrilled with the way this turned out I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to do it again. The turbo is pushing 7psi consistently and sounds awesome. I don't have any off throttle stumble (between shifts) from running rich like everyone goes on about. It seems as though things are managed pretty good.
I will be installing the BOV either tomorrow or Monday so I will have a report on that too. You can sure hear the back pressure from the pressure wave stall the turbo. I think the BOV will really help. We'll see just how stumbly it is. It seems as though if you don't recirc the vented air, it runs rich for a moment. Well, the way I see it, so far I have been the guinepig with the 2nd gen Max's so why not keep the momentum. I'll let you all know how the BOV turns out. I will have pics up on the site by Monday/Tuesday as well.
Cheers!
