fuel gauge problems.

fuel gauge problems.

I remember hearing in past threads that some have had problems with there fuel gauge...now mine is acting up, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck on fixing it, or even found the problem?? mie isint the digital dash, its an 85. thanks for any help guys.

oh, my bad, it stays on empty then if i make a hard turn sometimes it fluctuates and acts normal for a while, sounds like a short, but if its acommon problem it may be a common fix, ya know?

Yeah seems to be a short wire somewhere. Whenever you turn you probably trip the wire for a bit then it goes out. It seems just tracing the gauge wire back to see where its coming from is the fix for this.
