Did the states get a factory turbo 2nd gen?

Did the states get a factory turbo 2nd gen?
A while back I noticed a 87 Maxima for sale. It was a 2.0 V6 turbo with a (4 or 5?) speed trans. I was just wondering if the states ever got these?

Nope ours were all N/A. It had to have been imported from Japan or where ever else they had them. They held the vg20et. Either the engine or the whole car was imported.
